Marianna in her role at Microsoft, Finland enables both teachers and educational institutions to utilize technology in order to support learning. Prior to Microsoft, Marianna had several years of experience working at the Finnish National Agency for Education managing education technology projects for the Ministry of Education. She will bring to the Innovative Education Council Advisory Board her rich insights to train and implement technology to expand the learning experience and opportunities for building networks of educators.
Jari is an accomplished product management expert having several years of experience with both startups and Fortune 500 companies. A globetrotter in his day job, he will provide focus to the Advisory Council with his deep entrepreneurship knowhow and bring his widespread network spread across the San Francisco bay area.
Celebrated public speaker on education such as SXSW EDU conference, "Sigge" Sandström is a dynamic business development executive and management consultant with extensive international business development experience. He has served for several years as the lead principal for the schools of Helsinki, Finland. Sigge brings to the Advisory Council not only his immense knowhow for building strategic and operative international alliances and partnerships but also his strong domain knowledge about pedagogy and didactics.
Dr. Kirsi Kettula, has over twenty years’ experience in teaching and teaching development and a long career in administrative duties. She is an expert in higher education, transnational education, professional development programmes, and participatory teaching methods. She has published scientific articles on expertise development, reflective learning, innovative teaching methods – including drama and roleplay – and transnational higher education. Over the years she has successfully led and managed numerous transnational professional development programmes, including in China and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Kettula contributes to the advisory board with her expertise in pedagogical training and educational development.
Riitta has several years of experience in concepting digital learning solutions, leading global projects, managing technologies in learning and has spearheaded roles at prestigious organizations such as Pearson, Finpro, Nokia, Microsoft etc. Riitta will be providing digital learning and education export expertise on the advisory board.
Bhanu Potta is a board director & advisor, an accomplished expert on Global Education Products & Social Investments. He is passionate about building businesses and product which enhance human potential. As an Angel Investor and Startup advisor, more recently he saw through multiple social startups from Idea to Market with multi-million dollar Series A rounds. Sharing his time between India, Europe and the USA, Bhanu is a frequent speaker and panelist at international education conferences. Bhanu brings to the advisory board his expertise and in depth knowhow of the education industry and his wide spread network with publishers and distributors of the Emerging Economies in Asia and Africa.
Samir is the Director of the Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences at Fortis Healthcare in India. He has written several articles in print media and blogs in digital media and authored a book for student well-being. He brings to the advisory board his deep knowledge and research about children’s skills development in India.

Kinga teaches STEAM education to elementary and middle school students with experiences inspired from the Finnish school model. She focuses on elementary and middle schools covering several school districts on the West coast. She will support the instructor training, business development and go-to-market activities.
